The Shades return to Naperville. We will be hitting Draft Picks this Saturday, 8-11 pm.
It has been a while since we've been in this area....almost a year. Hard to believe, but true. This is our first time at Draft Picks and we're really looking forward to it.
If it fits your plans, stop by for some tunes, beverages, a little dinner and more tunes.
It has been since October 2020 that The Shades last performed and we are ready to bust loose! Come and join us, we would love to see all of our friends and family again.
Since The Shades are taking a break this week, I am filling in some calendar space my other project, THE JUKE BOX KINGS. It's hard to predict how much longer outdoor shows will be available, so we're squeezing in as many as we can. Cucina Casale has plenty of your favorite beverages to choose from, we're all under a tent with heaters (thank the Gods) and the tables are spaced apart nicely. Masks are required for those post-beverage excursions into the bar.
This is a line-up that will be playing a wide range of songs....some classic rock, some dance, some country, a little Motown and maybe even a little surf music. We're not even sure. Come out and help us decide what to play.

The Shades Tonight!
We hope that everyone has stayed safe during this terrible period. Well folks, this will be our first time playing out since February and all shit hit the fan. What started as a show where Mike I were filling in some spots with GMRC has now turned into a show where a third Shades member will be joining us (hence 3/4 The Shades). We will be performing outdoors on their patio. Seating will be limited due to social distancing but the owner has encouraged us to invite folks out to listen from their vehicles or off of the property as well. We miss you all and hope to see you soon.
